Beyond his professional aspirations, James enjoys a well-rounded life filled with various hobbies and interests. An avid sports enthusiast, he loves to hit the slopes for skiing or the court for a game of tennis.

Brian, our chief compliance officer brings 30 years of financial services experience to Tribe, having led Compliance Departments at prestigious institutions.

Prior to joining the Tribe, Brian established his own consultancy firm and served as an Ombudsman at the Financial Ombudsman Service for 2 years.

Away from work, Brian can often be found on the golf course, where he impressively maintains a scratch handicap. His dedication to both his career and hobbies demonstrates his unwavering commitment to excellence in all aspects of life.

Introducing Ansab, an accomplished financial expert with a wealth of experience gathered from his tenure in several large investment and finance companies. Currently serving in the finance division of Investment Tribe, Ansab brings to the table proficiency in operations accounting, strategic planning, and financial management.

An ACCA qualified professional, Ansab recently achieved the status of Fellow, attesting to his commitment and dedication to his field. His current endeavour involves pursuing FCA qualifications, demonstrating his continued drive for professional growth.

Over the years, Ansab has garnered crucial insights into the intricacies of a Finance department’s operations and its crucial role in an organization’s decision-making process. He is committed to providing the board with proactive, relevant information to facilitate informed decisions. At the heart of his philosophy lies a firm belief in the importance of company culture and values. According to Ansab, a company imbued with a strong culture and irreplaceable values is destined for boundless success.

On a personal note, Ansab is a devoted husband and a doting father. Despite a demanding career, he makes time for hobbies and personal pursuits. He is an avid gamer, a football enthusiast, and a cultural aficionado, constantly adding new movies, books, and TV shows to his expansive watchlist. His penchant for travel allows him to immerse himself in diverse cultures and communities, adding to his rich tapestry of experiences. Ansab’s well-roundedness and holistic perspective make him an invaluable asset to Investment Tribe.

Meet Luis, Investment Tribe’s diligent Compliance Officer Manager. A University of Derby graduate, Luis has spent the last 6 years working in the financial industry, building his expertise and earning a CISI Level 3 certification in Combating Financial Crime. His open-minded, resourceful, and resilient nature makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

When he’s not busy keeping our compliance framework up-to-date and effective, Luis enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his family. Cycling is a particular passion of his, allowing him to explore the beautiful Scottish countryside while staying fit. Luis also enjoys experimenting with new flavours in the kitchen, often sharing his culinary creations with both his family and the Tribe team.

Despite his many commitments, Luis always prioritises the safety and security of our team and investors. And when Friday rolls around, he knows it’s time to kick back and enjoy a well-earned pizza feast with his family, celebrating the end of the week with their beloved tradition of “Friday night, Pizza Night.”

Nomsa Ndebele is a dedicated Portfolio Manager.

After completing her BA in Interior Design at The Glasgow School of Art, Nomsa embarked on a career in the property industry.

She holds an ARLA Level 6 in Residential Lettings and is currently pursuing a RICS MSc in Real Estate Management and Investment. With experience in roles such as Property Investment Manager and Property Manager at well-known letting agents in Edinburgh, Nomsa brings valuable expertise to the team. In her leisure time,

Nomsa enjoys travelling, baking, and exploring new cuisines, showcasing her passion for discovery and creativity both inside and outside the workplace.

Meet Kiara Monsanto, a final year student at Heriot Watt University, pursuing a degree in Mathematical, Statistical and Actuarial Sciences. She began her Investment Tribe journey as a Saltire Scholar in 2022 and currently heads the intelligence team at the company. In this role, she assists with various aspects of the business, including data analysis, research, and business administration. Kiara has always had a passion for numbers and problem-solving, which led her to pursue a career in finance and investment.

When Kiara isn’t busy crunching numbers she enjoys hip hop dancing, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, reading mystery novels, travelling the world, and hiking!

Introducing James Hannan, a gifted 21-year-old student from Edinburgh, Scotland. As Investment Tribe’s Accounts Analyst, James excels in deciphering complex data, offering valuable insights and suggestions. Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Economics at the University of Edinburgh, James finds a perfect balance between his studies and passion for skiing, demonstrating his adaptability and commitment to both academics and leisure.

Introducing Pavlin, a dynamic Interaction Design student from Bulgaria, who serves as a Tribe Influencer at Investment Tribe. Pavlin is responsible for an array of creative pursuits, including graphic design, motion graphics, layout designs, and the development of engaging social media content. With a strong passion for new technologies, modern design, and innovative experiments, Pavlin brings a fresh and artistic perspective to the team.

Pavlin is currently honing his skills in Digital Interaction Design at DJCAD, University of Dundee. Here, he continues to cultivate his fascination for digital creation, developing an impressive repertoire of designer skills. His academic journey has seen him undertake projects in UI/UX, visual effects, motion graphics for videos, and even the creation of physical interactive products.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Pavlin enjoys channelling his creativity into music production, working with artists from around the globe. This passion for music not only complements his design work, but has also significantly contributed to his love for graphic and interactive design. Pavlin’s combined interests and skills make him a multi-talented contributor to the Investment Tribe team.
